This one step can get you tons of visitors to your site, it won’t always be targeted but it can help you get started, and that is to bookmark your posts!

Notice here we are talking about getting targeted visitors to your ‘posts’ NOT your blog itself. Search engines don’t rank/rate websites or blogs, they rank/rate posts and pages. Not the main site. So make sure you take the time to promote your posts and pages!

The thing is this will send out a notice to all the bookmarking places that you have a new post or page, Even when all you did was just fix a typo error or added something. This can cause your blog to get banned for over bookmarking so you must be careful with this.

What we are going to show you to do is a way to make sure that every post and page you write is bookmarked properly. One great service is called Stumble Upon. This is free to get, it sits on your toolbar of your browser.  It is a great way to get immediate visitors to your new page or post.

It is very easy to use and install, head over to http://stumbleupon.com and follow their easy to read instructions. Then make sure you stumble each and every post and page you create. The key to make this work for you is to visit a few of the other sites through stumble upon and bookmark the sites/blogs you like, this will help get yours out there.

 

Another great service you can use to bookmark your posts and pages is Onlywire. This site lets you bookmark your post and page to multiple bookmarking sites at one time. This takes a bit of time as there are tons of place you can bookmark. Using Onlywire you will have to sign up to each of the individual sites before using them. But it does work at getting you some good targeted visitors.
